Sunday...bloody Sunday...
I hate weekends and public holidays. Actually Saturday is worse since at least on Sunday the week begins the next day. And wherever I roam...I cannot escape from THE NOISE. In Istanbul it was noisy restaurant and here the neighbour is having his house fully renovated to allow his invalid wife to move around in her wheelchair. Of course I'm sympathetic but why pick the time when I have come here to get some peace and recuperation time?? Bang and drill ....
My foot is still torturing me; it will be a long, long, LONG road to recovery. The eczema is quietening a bit but the wound is still fresh and I have to re-dress it each day. Good thing I'm a qualified nurse:)
My legs are cellulite city. Very yucky. I don't want to dope next season so I'll have to diet the blighters and even then it never goes completely. Despite my trainer pressing me I refuse to diet until the right time. I'm getting flabby enough as it is at the moment without dieting off the muscle. One good thing is I look more inverted triangle on the back view. Finally, finally...some shoulders and a bitta latissimus.
I went into one of my fave Istanbul shops - Moda - they sell lovely clothes - and couldn't get my arms into any of the women's shirts - yay! Progress at last:) I gained half a centimetre of pure muscle on the arms and for an old gal like me, that ain't bad.
Today I'm printing out my book excerpts for sending out next week. I hope the fucking postal workers don't stymie me again with their strikes. It's quite a bit of work, proof reading and collating and preparing the photos etc etc....probably will all be for nowt but I have to try.
It's going to be hot here next week but hey, Wimbledon is starting!

Time for me to do an update. Truth is, not much to say if you're grounded...and I'm getting bored of slagging off young Turks and old Cougars so I've decided to play nice and finish off my book presentation for next week. My deadline is Tuesday morning for sending them off. Writing is hard work but I have to give this one a try.

Day 2 of prone-ness
I forgot how bad it was last time i had my bunion done. The big toe tilts upwards and takes a year to touch the floor. Yuk!
My trainer told me to DIET when I can't do much else. Diet? What foreign word is that now? I am so bored I am polishing off anything I see...stale cake...lukewarm chips....I've turned into a human vacuum cleaner...
Am going to the hospital tonight for a check-up..maybe some good news?
